Speaker Pelosi:

Since the needs of the American public have fallen on deaf ears - YOURS - and your party seems oblivious to the suffering of your countrymen, we'd like to take an opportunity to show you the faces of those Americans who are paying the highest price: our children.

The parents of these children are facing difficult decisions in these trying times; many of these families will have to forego their summer vacations, skip taking these children to amusement parks as often and in some cases they are putting off their college funds because after paying for gasoline the money simply isn't left in the budget. Some of these parents are contemplating supporting your party's candidate - either for President or Congress - but are having second thoughts due to your unwillingness to allow ANY domestic energy production.

In short, we believe that "doing nothing" isn't exactly sound energy policy...

So as you contemplate the risks and rewards of playing politics with America's oil industry, please remember that these kids are among the hardest hit by your foot-dragging.
